We have mobile numbers programmed for our staff. I noticed just now if I right click on any person, it will show the mobile number. Any other person I right click on shows the same mobile number, although when clicking it does actually dial the correct mobile number. It shows the same wrong mobile number for everyone until the page is refreshed (click somewhere else and bck again, etc.). Users without a mobile configured don't show a mobile number when right clicked. So it appears it's just not updating that info correctly on the right click.

This is on 16 update 4,16.0.493, and Chrome, replicated on multiple PCs.

Hi @SteveITS

- Can you replicate this behavior when using an Incognito tab?

- If not, can you clear your browser's cache and try again with a normal tab to see if the problem is solved permanently?

Chrome's Incognito seems to fix it. Clearing browser data for all time didn't help for normal tabs. Tried Firefox and it works correctly there.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for confirming. Please copy your webclient URL and then right click your 3CX Chrome Extension and choose Options.

Now add your URL in the exceptions list and reload the webclient page.

We will improve this soon to prevent it from happening.

That didn't seem to help. Nor did disabling Click to Call. If I reload the page though it then "remembers" the last mobile/person right clicked so that will at least change the display.
My options screen looks quite different from yours though?

Also you can press F12 to enable the developer console in Chrome, then right click the refresh button on the url bar and click the last command: Empty Cache and Hard Reload

Then press F12 again to exit dev. mode.

Ah it's because you are using our older click to call plugin that has now been discontinued.
I think you should remove it and install the new one instead:

Ah yes I had the new one already. I think we assumed the new one removed or replaced the old one. Can it see the old one is installed and prompt to remove or disable it? Or an update issue for the old one to say to remove/disable it?

So removing the old extension and adding the exception fixed the symptom for me, and adding the exception fixed it for my coworker (since he didn't have the old plugin).

(I had long ago removed the old plugin in Firefox since it kept picking up IP addresses and the like, and forgot it was installed in Chrome since I normally use Firefox.)

I think I read that but since I don't normally use Chrome and I knew I removed it from Firefox it didn't occur to me to look for it in Chrome. Thanks.

No worries Steve, stay tuned for our next update where the issue has been fixed.
