Hello,
the “Missed Calls” behavior of ring groups is not what I expected.
Route: User A -> Ring Group B (Ring all) -> User C

If the call is not answered after being redirected to the ring group, all members of the ring group get a “Missed Call” notification, not only user A.
If the call is answered from a ring group member, user A gets a “Missed Call” notification.

Is it possible that only user A gets the correct notification?

Thanks
Hubertus

Hello @hubi777

So the call is not answered by user A and it is forwarded to a Ring group. All members all polled but no one answers and the call is forwarded out of the ring group to group C. Why is it wrong for the users in the Ring group to receive a missed call since the system polled them?

Hello,

if the call is answered from a ring group member, user A gets the notification and will call back.
If all users in the ring group gets the notification, maybe all will call back, not only user A.
Who knows that the recall was made?

I can understand your point of view but how does the system decide who gets a missed call? What if the call went directly to a ring group with 5 agents? Who gets a missed call since the call was not answered and who doesn't? What if you don't want user A to get a missed call because you are using a dummy extension to route calls? The logic is if you missed a call you get a missed call notification.

The main problem are internal calls. On external calls i can see some more information in the call history
+49xx:"User A":"Group B"...
-> +49xx calls "User A". The call was redirected to "Group B".

On internal calls i can only see
yyy:"Group B"...
-> The call from yyy was redirected to "Group B", but who i dont know the original destination "User A".
