Ring Group Extension Number

I am in the process of setting up a new 3CX server to replace an existing FreePBX server. I'm trying to create a ring group and assign it an extension of 7777. However, when I try to save the new ring group I get an error stating "Given DN number cannot be used". I can not find 7777 used anywhere on the system. Does anyone know what might be causing this error?

It does seem to dial an unlisted IVR. Is there anyway to change this? We have long used extension 7777 in our organization.

I don't believe system extensions can be changed.

That is extremely unfortunate. We have long used 7777 in our organization as an internal, emergency number. I would really hate for this to be the reason we cannot migrate to 3CX.
