I've followed numerous YouTube videos and spoken to Andreas at 3CX to get the Ring Groups working.
These are the steps I have followed:

Ring Groups

> Logged into 3CX Admin
> Ring Groups > Add Ring Group
> Name Ring Group
> Added Virtual Extension Number (800)
> Ring Strategy = Ring All
> Ring Time (Seconds) = 20

Group Members
> Added people to group
> Changed order so I am at the top

Direct Inbound Dialing (DID)
> Not sure if I am meant to be adding the DID number?

Destination if no answer
> Voicemail box for extension > 101 (my number)

Inbound Rules
>Route calls to > 800 Call All

I have tested it all now and still it does not work.
Any thought?

Hello @kieferschild - thanks for replying.
When I test it, the calls still go to the first person in the list (the person we have assigned as the "front-desk" person)

Only have one DID.

Will read that doc now - thanks

So the call to the ring group is working, correct?

in your above statement you said you put yourself at the top - are you the front desk? is it set as prioritised hunt?

No not working yet. When I test it, it goes to the first person.
Perhaps there is setting somewhere I need to take that person off?

Are all extensions in the RG online?

Is the hunt type set to prioritised hunt?

First thing I'd recommend checking is making sure that "Accept calls from Ring Groups" is enabled for the rest of the extensions. Go into Users/Extensions >> Edit >> Forwarding Rules and make sure it is checked.

Check this setting for the corresponding Profile status of those extensions.

Yip, all enabled already. :)
Next step?

If you call the ring group from another extension, is the behavior any different?
Since you said it is set to Ring all...have a look in the Activity Log (Verbose?) after a call attempt. Does it show 3CX attempting an Invite to all members?

Will try that Leejor, thanks

Thanks everyone. Not sure what changed but it is working now

You only add a DID if you want some real number (additional to your main one) to go direct to that group, and not follow normal flow. Most common scenario is someone being directly contactable on a number (not your main) like on their business card. This would bypass the standard inbound flow you've setup.

Glad to hear it's working now @Vane. If you require any further assistance or information, feel free to open a new thread.
