3CX pi.jpg

Hi everyone,
The image shows the scenario of the 3CX v16 environment which is installed on Raspberry Pi4
My ultimate goal is to ring all the devices when dialed from Akuovox to ring group, which is 8000. But whenever I dial 8000 only 1 device rings and the rest shows MissedCall.

  • I've 16 Sim call standard license
  • I've made all other devices members of 8000.
  • I've set Ring All in 8000
  • I made sure "Accept calls from Ring Groups" are checked in all the extensions
  • Even to check I've removed one extension from the group and dialed 8000 from that extension to see if there is some issue with the Akuovox Unit (which is not relevant I think), but still only 1 of the members of the group rings (only the 1st one in the list)
I don't know what else I can do.

Can anyone tell me what am I missing here?

Cheers

Hi @blancers,

Before we look into anything deep, can you ensure that all of the phones are "available"? Use *60 to do this. Try again and let me know if it rings all.

So instead of 8000, do I need to use *60 ?

And yes all the phones are available.

I feel I had something similar happen when I setup my i52W's, it may have been on the devices webpage if you look at Line => SIP => Basic Settings and untick Enable Auto Answering. You will need to do this on each i53W.

Yes. I also tried that. No luck

When calls are made to the ring group, from other than the Akuovox, are the results different?

If you look at the 3CX Activity Log (Verbose setting), after a call attempt, does it show 3XC attempting to reach the IP of each set? Any errors?

I'm assuming that calls, from the same device, direct to each set, work. Have you tried downsizing the ring group to two sets, see if that works, then add a third?

If you disable the video preview on all of the Fanvils, it should start ringing on all of them.
Actually, it worked. I was doing it wrong.
Thanks a lot for your help
