Hey Folks,

Recently I started to run 3CX. Generally it runs like a charm but I've run into an issue now I can't seem to fix.

The config:
1 virtual 3CX server, v15 fully updated
Voiptrunk to Voipplanet in the Netherlands
2 VOIP deskphones model yealink T46
1 DECT station Yealink W52P with 3 handsets

I've assigned an extension to each endpoint. I've configured the additional accounts on the W52P. At first it ran fine but after a while only de deskphones ring, the DECT handsets do not. All 3 can make outgoing calls and internal calls but when there is an external incoming call, the ringgroup somehow does not notify all the DECT stations.

I've updated the Yealinks to the latest firmware, deleted and recreated the ringgroup, added all the endpoints again and it worked again, for a period, then the problems started all over again.

Does anyone have a clue? Are the DECT handsets not properly registring with the server?

I don't know what's going on and it's pretty frustrating as there is no error message in the logs.

Any idea's are greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Alex

Hi,

Sometimes there are issues with the W52P (running on v73) if there are more than two handsets registered to the base.
(het zou niet mogen… (Dutch language))
Please unregister one handset, disable its account and test again.

Imagine you've got 5 (the limit) handsets attached..

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a go!
