my site says Not Supported 35.83.0.20, then i tried with 35.83.0.55 from your site, but

It shows ROM block data invalid

What to do?

@Arne Larsen

Are you updating from the console or did you download the file from the 3CX firmware site and try to manually upgrade?

i downloaded it from 3cx site and updated it manually

Can you try updating the phone through the management console and see if that works?

We're having the same issue. Were able to upload firmware from Yealink's site up to 50 no problem. Downloading 55 from your site results in the error even still. Is it a bad upload?

Hi Paul,

You need to download the ROM files using this URL:
http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/misc/phonefirmware/yealink/XX_83_00_55.zip

To update your phones manually you need to use the actual FW files ("xx.83.0.55.rom").
DO NOT use the files marked as a "patch" ("patchxx.83.0.55.rom") when you are updating the phones directly form the phone's Web UI. These "patch" files are designed ONLY for the updates from the Management Console of the 3CX Phone System.
More information you can find here:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/yealink-firmware-update/

Also, the "version 50" was never supported by 3CX, so we can't know what type of issues or limitations are available there.
Please try to contact to Yealink support to check why you are not able to upgrade your phones from version xx.83.0.50 to xx.83.0.55.

That was definitely the issue, was pulling the updates from https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/ which at second glance all appear to be patches. I'd appreciate a disclaimer on that page for the Yealink firmwares under the info column that more clearly calls them out as 'patches'. Wouldn't want the next person having the same issue we did today! We're going to pull the full rom from the link you provided and update from 50 to 55 soon. Thanks again.
