Can you try updating the phone through the management console and see if that works?i downloaded it from 3cx site and updated it manually
Hi,i downloaded it from 3cx site and updated it manually
Hi Paul,We're having the same issue. Were able to upload firmware from Yealink's site up to 50 no problem. Downloading 55 from your site results in the error even still. Is it a bad upload?
Hi Paul,
You need to download the ROM files using this URL:
http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/misc/phonefirmware/yealink/XX_83_00_55.zip
To update your phones manually you need to use the actual FW files ("xx.83.0.55.rom").
DO NOT use the files marked as a "patch" ("patchxx.83.0.55.rom") when you are updating the phones directly form the phone's Web UI. These "patch" files are designed ONLY for the updates from the Management Console of the 3CX Phone System.
More information you can find here:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/yealink-firmware-update/
Also, the "version 50" was never supported by 3CX, so we can't know what type of issues or limitations are available there.
Please try to contact to Yealink support to check why you are not able to upgrade your phones from version xx.83.0.50 to xx.83.0.55.
