Hi All

I'm coming up with my plan to migrate from Freepbx to 3CX but need to try and do it without having different extension numbers for staff.

My idea is that when someone based on the 3CX server dials an ext and it isn't on 3CX it then sends it over the SIP trunk to my Freepbx server. The ext will only ever be on one of them not both.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

I thought the plan was to migrate from freepbx?

It is but this is to help me migrate as my ext's will be split over 2 systems.

Thanks

If a local number, such as an extension, does not exist on the PBX then it can be used as an outbound rule. So... if you had a rule beginning with 2, that was 3 digits long, sent over a bridge trunk to the other PBX, then if Extension 201 was dialled, and existed, that should ring, but if 202 did not exist, it should use the rule.

Thanks Very much.
