Hello everyone!

We have two DID/DDI Numbers assigned to our Trunk. For example 10000088 and 10000099.
DID 10000088 is configured as "Main Trunk No" for trunk, and both DID's is added to trunk configuration in section "DID/DDI Numbers".

Incoming calls are routed between two "Ring Groups" ("DID 10000088" -> "Ext 888", "DID 10000099" -> "Ext 999"), the is no problems with Incoming calls.
But all outgoing calls are always routed using "Main Trunk No" 10000088. When we calling to someone outside, for him it looks like call is coming from 10000088.

We would like to route all outgoing calls from members of Ring Group 888 to DID 10000088, and from members of Ring Group 999 to DID 10000099.
Is it possible to achieve this?

Hi,

Is it two groups with completely different members?

If yes , for each user, you can specify a caller ID: 1667995389348.png

If a user has to use different callerID from time to time, you can make two outbound rules with different callerID set for each rule. Then the users can use on route or the other using some special prefix.

Hi Joris,

Wow, I was not aware about "Outbound Caller ID" (I've been thinking that is it some special "do-no-touch" setting).
Thank you for this hint, it works!

I think you should make a "test PBX" on which you could "touch" all of these settings . You could discover a lot of nice features :)
