Dear 3CX developers,

the new Safari will be compatible to Chrome WebExtensions API and offer an easy way to port those to the Safari world.
Are you planning this, and if so, by when can we expect that?

This would be a very handy and important step for the Mac community not working with Chrome or Chromium.

Hi Mick,

There are no plans for Safari right now, but I would not rule it out.

The main issue is probably going to be the Safari WebRTC support, rather than just porting the plugin.

Agreed. Safari doesn't have all the same WebRTC APIs as Google Chrome or Edge. Or even Firefox for that matter.
