Hello,

I have this problem where every once in a while the same abandoned call is logged again and again every 1 second.

Please see this screenshot:

At the end of the day I have hundreds of "fake" abandoned calls logged..

Any clue why it happens?

Do you see a corresponding log in the 3CX Activity Log that might shed more light on where they are coming from? Did this just start at some point? Where changes made to "something" about the time they began?

Recently we added a loop with 3 steps.
The "no answer" option for the initial Q, is a dummy extension that normally forwards to a RG.
But the "no answer" of the RG, is to go back to the initial Q.

Maybe the glitch happens when all the Q guys are out [causing an instant drop from Q], but the RG guys are also all out or in a call.

I had set one of the RG members to always get calls regardless of status; but hadn't considered that if that same RG guy is already in a call [and everybody else is out], then the RG drops anyway and this could cause an endless loop... is this correct?

I haven't created the same scenario, to test, but, the log obviously has something to do with the call flow, so, I suspect that the loop is what's doing it. Someone from 3CX (or someone else), may have come across the same thing, and can confirm. Perhaps change the call flow temporarily, and see what causes the log to stop.

Hello @vradmin

You are correct that if a Ring Group member is on a call or ringing the Ring Group will consider him busy and forward the call to the destination if no answer. That would cause a look in the system and of course you would get a missed call for every loop. I would recommend breaking the loop somehow to prevent this from happening.
