Using Wifi or 3G? 3G has a lot of issues with voip calls.

I am using Wifi.

When I do VOIP calls its like the mic of the phone does not work.

Are you using this with 3CX PBX, or a VoIP provider?

I am using it with a VOIP provider (callcentric and ipkall). I tried using this app with a newer phone (Galaxy S II) and an older phone (HTC Wildfire) ; it worked fine with those phones except my Galaxy SL.

It sounds then, like an issue (setting/option/incompatibility?) with that one particular phone. Unless someone is using the same model, and has a solution, you may be out of luck until, perhaps, the next release.

I am having exactly the same problem with samsung galaxy SL. I hope this can be fixed.

Did you try to manually download, and install, the most recent (Tunnel version) release?
