Samsung s10 and Note 10 hands free doesn't turn phone mic off

My users on Samsung 10 models are reporting that hands free in their car is barely usable due to echo. We noticed if we cover the mic on the phone in the car, the echo goes away, so it appears that when the 3cx app is being used in hands free mode, both the car microphone and phone microphone are active.

If I disable the bluetooth support, there are other issues that make regular calls unusable for people that use the softphone a lot.

Any help would be awesome!

Hello,

Since each android manufacturer may implement the access to the audio devices differently, it is unfortunately difficult to control how the phone will behave across all models. The bluetooth support lets you choose between the available Telecom APIs for controlling calls on android.

For this model it may be best to leave it disabled.
