I was just after advice, if anyone has a solution or idea how to do this it would be very helpful.

We have a SBC in remote office and today there was a problem with the network in that office and all the extensions died! I do have a sip trunk manager and as a backup I am going to set it divert when there is a network problem and If the main system is up but the SBC is down the diversion will not kick in. Any great ideas out there?

Thanks in advance

Hello @Souren Dadaian

To avoid any confusion, you want calls to be diverted to an alternate location automatically when the SBC or network goes down in the remote office?
Providers are able to do that if they detect that the trunk registration went down or if they get an error code back from the PBX, but since the PBX will still be running then calls will come in normally.
The only solution i can think of is to set the forwarding rules of each extension to forward the call to a number when busy or unregistered. So when the SBC goes down the phones will unregister and calls will be forwarded to the set destination.
This will not work however if you have Push enabled and mobile devices registered on the extension or if the option "Ring my mobile simultaneously" is enabled.
