We did a demo yesterday. Customer likes 3CX, but they are not happy with the need for a PC or similar to host a SBC. They claim the competitors product doesn't require that. But we have been advised against using STUN for remote phones. What is everyone else doing to compete wit this? The other product is Sangoma.

Thanks

Explain to them that there's a good reason why 250,000 installations across the world use the SBC: reliability.

Prove them that the competitors is just gonna have issues trying to use a cloud PBX without SBCs. My experience says: much easier to manage and support than a bunch of phones in STUN, on a crappy router.

Don't know Sangoma at all , but could it be like a "centrex install" where you have your telco producing full PBX services and phones are just connected to this service from your location?

If it's something like that for sure nothing can be compared
