Hi,

I have noticed lately that provisioning our Snom phones via Plug’n’Play isn't working. The phone shows in bold and as new on the phone tab, you select it and choose assign extension, set all parameters and hit ok but the phone is never provisioned.

I have set up a SBC on local and the 3cx is on azure cloud. its all setup and working fine.

I have done everything but it keeps looking for the server on the phone,

Infra:
Main 3cx is on azure cloud
SBC: Local on windows 10 pc

yes i have added the right firmware. and also the date and time has been set UK TIME.

Still not working

HTTPS requires correct time and date. The phone does that via NTP (do not set manually).

If the phone was not able to reach NTP, then it has been observed that it will not proceed to provision itself.

Ignoring the timezone (for HH:xx:xx), does the phone automatically pick up correct date, and correct minutes?

Yes its picking up the correct date and time.

Also i see on the phone dashboard, the following

Received from Udp:192.168.1.64:5060 on Udp: at Apr 14 12:23:41.441 (855 bytes):

When it boots up, i can see right time on the screen. But after this it asks for account, registrar and says not available

On the SBC network, are you blocking https port outbound to the internet

Provisioning / address book requires https port

Do you have dhcp option 66 configured on the dhcp server ?

1. Your Key
2. Your FQDN

I will perform a check from our side to see if there is anything preventing TLS provisioning.

Hi @Saqqara ,

i am using windows 10 as SBC base. I am not sure if https port is blocked. i have added SBC to firewall exception.

The network which the SBC and phones are on, needs to be able to access the internet on port 443

Check your firewall to see if you are blocking / only allowing certain ports out.
