SBC Sizing

We have a client that wants to run their PBX off of AWS, 3CX recommends an SBC should be used in the head office.

What size should the SBC be to support 400 extensions?

The 3CX SBC is designed for a maximum of 100 devices each with 10 BLFs. In situations where there are more than 100 remote devices on the same site, we recommend using 1 individual SBC for every 100 devices. That said, in your case you'll need exactly 4 3CX SBC running on the same site each on a separate host.
