SBC updater?

Hi,

I'm curious what the "updater" does for the SBC. I see that there is a scheduled task to run it every night but are changes actually released that often that this is necessary? The changelog page shows changes maybe a few times a year.

Updater frequency has nothing to do with how often updates are released. Rather, it's about how long you want to wait to update when there is an update released.
