Hello all experts;

I am consider to run more than one schedule backup and more than one schedule restore to Standby server daily. Through the web management console, we can configure backup and restore once only daily. I am thinking, if using command line; I can configure a Windows Schedule Task to run backup as many as I want, is it right?

During backup, what impact to the Primary server? If some function will be stopped due to the backup process started? For restore, can I point the restore backup from a SAN storage?

Thanks!

Is it that hard to run a backup and see what happens? No, no services are stopped for the backup. And you can point your backup anywhere the command line backup can reach. It doesn't care if it's SAN/NAS/floppy disk. As long as it can write and there's enough space
