Schedule Conferences Stop Calling Chairperson

I am wondering if someone can help, normally our EA's create the conference calls and send out the meeting invites on behalf of the chairperson but if they create the call with their extension from 3CX Client the meeting calls them at the scheduled time.

We are using v15 and is it possible to stop the conference calling the chairperson of the meeting?

Hello @Rory,

When you schedule a meeting from the client, all the extensions participating will receive a call at the time of the meeting. By "chairperson" you mean the creator of the meeting? If so, it is the only extension that cannot be excluded from the meeting.

Yes the creator of the meeting. So we are unable to turn this off?

Hi, was there ever any update on this? My client would like to stop the conference calls calling out full stop.

Hi Mark,

No update. I ended up creating a dummy extension for our EA's to create a Conference room PIN and they only enter their email address so the PIN is emailed to them, the conference call dials the dummy extension but it is never registered

Its not the best solution but it works.
