Scheduling video conference with added security

Hello,
I was just wondering if it's possible to add like codes or credentials or any other security layer to log in to a video conference that was scheduled? Because now anyone who has the link can log in. I want that only the people I invited to connect to the conference.

Hi,

This would not prevent anyone who has the link and password to still share it with a 3rd party, hence it would not solve the problem. As for simply guessing/scanning the link, you will see that this is very difficult by looking at the link alone.

One thing we do currently offer is the following: Once you create a meeting (if using the 3CX SMTP) each participant will receive their own link. Once a user joins the meeting with their personalized link, no one else can join because the link is in use.


The only link that is an exception to the rule is the Shareable Link, which is not personalized per each participant and will allow anyone, if you choose to share it.

However in response to your original question, we will consider to add an additional layer of security in the future (i.e a login or pass)
