i have 2 trunk from 2 separates providers with different DID. one is using route 1 for incoming and router for the second. first trunk is working fine with no issues. second trunk is also registered but for incoming calls it either drop the call or give busy signal. Log on the provider's side shows 3cx is asking authentication for incoming on second trunk. any ideas?

Hi @VOIPCONNECT

That means you are having call source identification issues. That essentially means that the PBX cannot match the incoming call to a trunk so it asks for authentication. This can be because there is a conflict between the trunks or because there is no unique identifier for the PBX to use so its able to match the call to a trunk.

Here is how the PBX does the matching: https://www.3cx.com/docs/sip-trunk-inbound-calls/

Let me know if you have any questions.
