Hello,

I have a premise based 3CX that I am currently testing out the PMS interface using a laptop with some emulation software. If I do strictly IP it works (except for the name not showing) but as soon as I put in a IP to serial convertor I'm not able to get a response back to my ENQ. I'm using the same port as the IP interface so it should not be a firewall issue. I have also confirmed I have TD/RD on my serial connections via a serial tester. I'm testing with a Precida iPocket and a Global Cache iTach. I have tried 9600-8-n-1 and 12008-n-1 for baud rates.

I'm also running software 16.0.6.655 Pro license.

And you are trying to do this because...?

I have only used RS232 to IP converters to get an RS233 signal from one place to another, over the internet, not to get an IP connection somewhere, using a serial connection.

Baud rates, parity, and stop bit settings , are only of concern to the other end of the serial connection.

Interfacing with PMS companies. They only support serial connections for interfacing, not IP.
