I have a problem logging in to the 3CX console - I get the "Server Error" message (no additional description, no error code).

Until 30.09.2019 everything worked correctly in the configuration described below:
The 3CX System is installed on my server (the server is physically located in my office), Windows 10 with a full update, no VM, no other operating systems are installed. In the office I have a public IP address, router with NAT, server with 3CX system is on a static local IP address. The server has Norton installed - anti-virus protection and firewall functions enabled. ALL IP addresses are blocked on 3CX. The black list includes added as allowed IP addresses indicated - 8 public and several local. My FQDN domain has an outdated SSL certificate, which expired in December 2018. I was able to log in to the 3CX console from the indicated public IP addresses and local IP addresses without any problems. Everything worked correctly until 30.09.2019.

The next day I couldn't log in to the console - "System Error" message.

To solve the problem, I did the following:
First, I bought the SSL certificate for my FQDN domain. Then I replaced the certificate in C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\nginx\conf\instance1 and restarted NGINX. Now, when I go to my domain address (https://3cx.mydomain.xx:5001) and check the certificate, I see that it is actual and valid until October 2020. Then I turned off all Norton services (anti-virus and firewall). I’m trying to login to 3CX with different IP addresses (public and local) which are added to the blacklist as allowed. I keep getting the same message - "Server Error".

  1. Do you have an idea, what can I do now to get to 3CX via www?
  2. Is it possible to access 3CX through SSH, Telnet or in some other way in Windows?
  3. Is there any command that I could send to 3CX so that 3CX would backup system settings (internal numbers, SIP trunks, queues, broadcast groups, input and output rules, etc.), licenses, call billing, voicemail, etc.? I need backup now (in the actual moment) because I assume that I will have to install 3CX from the beginning.
  4. I’m currently using 3CX ver. 16.0. If now (without logging in to the console) I want to reinstall 3CX version 16.0, will I have to uninstall 3CX first? Will the installer let me make an "overlay" for the currently installed 3CX system? If the installers allow me to reinstall the software, it's usually presented to choose: "Modify", "Repair", " Reinstall", "Uninstal".
  5. Regarding point 4: If the installer allows me to "refresh" the 3CX installation (without having to remove the current, malfunctioning version of 3CX) and install a new, fresh version of 3CX, will all my 3CX settings be saved, including system settings, licenses, call billing, voicemail, etc.? Whether reinstalling 3CX remove all of the above settings?
  6. Regarding point 4: If the installer doesn’t allow me to "refresh" the 3CX installation and requires that the current 3CX version be uninstalled first, will the system settings, licenses, call billing, voicemail, etc. be removed when uninstalling 3CX?
  7. If I can't log in to the 3CX panel and I have no way to backup (I assume that none of the above points will work), will the following solution work: I put a new disk in the server, install a fresh version of Windows 10 on it, a fresh version 3CX. The “old” drive on which Windows 10 and 3CX is currently located, I connect to the server as a data-only disk and download from it the appropriate 3CX files containing 3CX system settings, licenses, call billing, voicemail, etc. and copy them to the new disk in 3CX directories, which are currently empty (I overwrite empty files with data files). I restart the system. Will this solution cause that after restart the new 3CX (on the new disk) will start with the data substituted from the current (“old”), malfunctioning 3CX installation?
  8. Is it possible to set up automatic backup in 3CX, eg every week?
