Looking for some recommendations to see if 3CX is suitable in a serviced office/Co-working space environment.

Would basically need to create extensions for various businesses/tenants which allow them to make outgoing calls but need to have these calls tied to each company so a bill can be produced.

And then for separate DIDs to be available with all incoming calls answered by the main reception phone but we would need to know the business that is being called so they answer correctly.

Know 3CX has a Hotels module inbuilt to the professional version but wanted to know if anything similar is available for a serviced office/Co-working space environment.

Would just be a single location for a small number of users as expect around 10-20 different businesses with each having a single or maybe 2 users.

Any suggests would be great.

Unfortunately, I don't think 3CX is designed for that. 3CX is not Multi tenants.

Get a powerful hypervisor server that has enough resources to run 20 instances of Debian 3CX.

(or 20 raspi pi's if youre feeling that way o_O)

Install 20 3CX on that server.

you'd get away with the free 3CX licensing for such a small amount of users. if they need call recording etc then they pay for pro.

if you're wanting them to use 3CX externally you're gonna need some RIPE addresses from your ISP.

*licensing for 3CX can change at their discretion.

**Assuming all offices have their own network.

Hello @theashes

Although 3CX is not designed to host multiple businesses under one PBX your requirements can be met fairly easily.
You could add a trunk for each business and forward each business out from a specific trunk via the outbound rules.
You could also add inbound rules for each DID and give each one the company name. You can then select to prepend that name to calling number which will be displayed on the phone/client. You can then see for which company the call is intended. You can also route the calls directly to the extension.

There are limitations however, like 3CX has a single phonebook for all users and that the on hold music will be the same across the system. I would recommend doing some research before deploying the system and installing a demo PBX to test everything you need.
