Set call control on different devices

The issue I have is that call control for the softphone is set @ the extension level. On my desktop where my desk phone is located the IP phone option makes sense. But on my laptop, I want the softphone to handle calls. I find myself forgetting to check this. Is there a way to get it to stick on my laptop?

Hi Sean,

This is reprovisioned automatically from the PBX so it will default to whatever the extension has.

You do have the option of removing the Re-Provision on Start-up though. The only caveat is that if anything changes on the extension, you will have to reprovision the laptop client manually since it will no longer update itself.
