Solved Setting Outbound Caller ID results in SIP Trunk not working

Hey,

I'm using an unauthenticated SIP trunk (IP Based) that has two numbers-
Main number 1234567
Secondary number 7654321

When I call out to an external number, the main number (1234567) shows up as the caller ID.

I would like the secondary number to show up for all outgoing calls, regardless of extension.
I've tried entering the secondary number in SIP Trunk > Caller ID > Configure Outbound Caller ID
When I do this, all outbound calls fail. The call just get stuck on 'Initiating' in the Active Calls view.

Can anyone assist with pointing out where I'm going wrong?

Ok I figured it out, turns out I needed to use the full phone number with country code and '+' character,

So instead of just entering 7654312 into the outbound caller id, I entered +18687654321 and it worked immediately.
