Hi, maybe there is something not clear in what you want and how you are wording the question ?
I think ? what you are asking is
how to bind SIP trunk for a 3cx instance
and then
how to configure call flow / from extensions-users in 3cx system for inbound and outbound call flow?
broadly speaking if you are starting from ground zero, a clean 3cx instance,
you have SIP trunk from external SIP_TRUNK_Carrier, basically that means you have a SIP server name, user-pass info for the service.
Once the trunk is linked to your 3cx then calls to the DID at your SIP carrier will route to 3cx.
After that you must ensure you have EXT exist in your 3cx - ie - create an extension or two or three; for your different users/ handsets
then you will need to configure inbound call flow (trivial use case -> Inbound call comes in > hits a ring group > all handsets/EXT will ring, anyone can answer). and then outbound calling - you need to setup basic dial plan rules for how to deal with users punching buttons on their handset/phone-device. Such as "10 digit dial > send out via SIP TRUNK" or suitable rules for Long Distance, etc. dial rule set. This is all covered in the setup documentation I believe. Not 'hard' per se but you do need to read the documents, especially if you haven't set things up successfully yet on 3cx ever.
if I'm missing the point please ping back on the thread?
