Setting up voicemail to text

So I am trying to setup voicemail to text on the system and I have gotten the API keys and everything all setup and entered into the system just as it is directed in the setup guide. I made some test calls and left voicemails and my emails come back with "Transcription: " nothing shows up after transcription. I checked the 3cxSystemService.log for SPEECH and get the following error:

Speech Transcription Error! Failed to connect to the speech service. Please, check that your Microsoft subscription key is valid and not expired

I have verified 3 times that the keys are right so not sure where to look next. This is running on windows 7 pro VM currently

I actually followed that one but noticed it was closed so wanted to open a thread to see if anyone had further idea's on this.

Actually I dropped the ball on getting this fixed. Tracing it all with wireshark is a bit over my head. I did read on another thread that you need to be using Windows Server 2012 or later for voicemail transcription to work. I'm using Windows 2008 R2. I haven't confirmed that this is the problem.

Can anybody confirm that Windows 2008 Server works with voicemail transcription?

Please note that you need windows 8 or windows server 2012 or higher to get this to work as per guide: https://www.3cx.com/docs/voicemail-transcription/
The reason is that earlier windows do not have all the necessary DLL files needed for voicemail transcription to work.

Or you can use our Voicemail Manager add-on which doesn't have the same requirements and adds a number of additional features like voicemail escalation, group voicemail distribution (including MWI), manager access to extension group members (optional), and a web portal for accessing voicemails.
