Shared Contacts

We have a new customer that wants contacts entered on any of their desk phones to show up in the contacts of the rest of the phones. Not sure if this is possible or if there is some kind of work around to achieve something similar.

PBX Version is 18.0 update 4 (Build 965) hosted on Debian.
Phones are Fanvil X5U's

Regarding your question and for contacts to appear on ip phones, when provisioned with 3cx, you would need to populate the company contacts section within the management console > Advanced >Contacts. Additionally, you need to ensure that the mobile number field is populated with the number you want to see on the IP Phones. Note: Only the mobile number field appears on IP Phones.

Thanks. I tried the contacts method and it works. I'll write up a guide so the customer can add the contacts themselves as needed.
