Does anyone know how to easily adapt a call forward number to an inbound rule?

I need to create an environment where the receptionist can determine during the day to which mobile number a call goes outside of office hours.
There is no regularity in these numbers, so a time control for this does not work.

At a Xelion PBX you can create a speed dial code with "number for forwarding". You can therefore adjust a destination number by a simple shortcut (code)
It is not desirable that the receptionist has to fill in a number every day with an inbound rule.

It also concerns 10 different doctors to whom the conversation must go. I can't use the change profile status option either.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanx.

Why? That would work.

Otherwise, a CFD can probably help you here. Have a FWD extension that gets the mobile phone updated via CFD and then use that to route calls.

Status will definitely help also here.

You only have a limited number of status profiles, right?
or is it possible to use more profiles with the CFD?

Yes, 5 statuses only. and no CFD doesn't have more, but it can edit those 5.

But then I still have the problem that a user has to change numbers.
There are 10 different doctors that the conversation should be able to go to.
In our case You actually want 10 different status options that the user can choose from and that no numbers need to be adjusted.

Well, CFD can help but not with statuses. You can use many ways to get the required info and decide the number to forward to.

As @ConceptsWeb mentioned, you could create two CFD applications: (1) that is used to capture where to forward calls, and (2) a default route that uses the forward captured by the first CFD. The first CFD could update a file with the forward phone number, and the second CFD could read this same file to perform the route.

However, you might want to take a look at our 3CX On Call Manager tool. This tool provides a web-based calendar that supports complex recurring schedules, so perhaps they could set up the schedule once and eliminate the need for these two CFD applications. Our tool also includes reporting so you see when calls came in, who was notified (phone, email, text), and when the call was handled. We support both live-answer and voicemail approaches to handling after-hours phone calls.

Thanks for the reply's. I'm playing around with the CFD and I think I have a workable solution.
