Sidetone

Greetings all,

We are new with 3CX, and slowly trying to replace our customers PBX with this one.
During our internal test, employees complained that they don't hear themselves in the handset when they talk. The other systems we sell have an option for talkback / sidetone. I did not find anything like that in 3CX. Anyway to enable this feature ?

Hi,

Depending on what type or brand of phone(s) you have, the sidetone feature can be adjusted on the phone, not the 3CX PBX.

The other vendors we use make their own phone, so it's a system option we can easily deploy.
On our test bed, we used HTEK. I will contact them and see if it is doable. If not, does anybody know what brand support sidetone ? AND if there is a way to push an option to all phones of the same brand (if you used it). It would be crazy to have to go through 4,000 single phones :/
