Hi,

Currently theres no way to sign in with M365 through the Windows App, and I was wondering if there was a possiblity of this in the future?
I know that the PWA makes this easy because of Single Sign on connected to the windows login (so our users dont have to enter their credentials), but the desktop app is more friendly but I am assuming there is no way of connecting this up?

Just wanted to confirm because it would be convenient to have this feature if it was a possibliity.

Thanks
Daniyal

This is possible via the web client presently. However, you could look and see if anyone has posted it already in the ideas section or ask a platinum partner to post this as an idea. You should keep checking the blog for upcoming features and updates.

Hi @dranjbar !

If each of your users has their own Windows Login and not a common Windows Account, the Desktop App saves it's configuration in each User folder separately.

So all you need to do in this case is configure the Desktop App for each user, each one with their own account.

If on the other hand everyone is using the same Windows Login credentials, then I would suggest telling users to use the WebClient instead, which as you said allows for SSO login.

Hi Nick,

Yep each user has their own login but its more of a pain for a new user to:

Go onto the web client and provision the app on every computer they use for the first time (its a call centre like environment where no one sits at the same desk)
They also have to select the Yealink integration by going through the settings steps (don't see how this can be made easier).

I obviously think the app is better as it mainly has the popup feature, but the PWA webclient is getting kind of close to the apps capabilities which is good.

Thanks for the help anyways!
