Simple call button

Hi
We develop our own software and would like a simple method to just make a call either via a desktop phone or 3CX windows app.
Http REST would have been easy but it looks like it's not available. Call control API also now seems to be depleted. CRM integration looks like it's the other way around - it looks into the CRM system.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get started ?

Hello Andy,

You can use the 3CX Web Client click to call URL for this. Just open the browser pointing to:
https://3CX_FQDN:5001/webclient/#/call?phone=NUMBER_TO_CALL

And the Web Client will make the call. If it is configured in CTI mode controlling a desk phone, the call will be made by the desk phone.
