Simultaneous Call Clarification

If I have two users in the office talking to each other via 3CX phones, is it using

1 SC = 1 channel between 2 endpoints.

Endpoints can be the app or a phone or a trunk. In a conference with 3 persons, it's 2 SC.

So, in your case, it's 1 SC.

The only time 1 call takes 2 SC is if you forward to an external number. It will need 1 channel for the inbound call and 1 for the outbound call (to the forward number).

In layman's terms, an SC is a call between A and B, regardless where A or B is located.
For conference calls, it is 3 due to
SC 1: A to Conference Server (default ext 700)
SC 2: B to Conference Server (default ext 700)
SC 3: C to Conference Server (default ext 700)
and so on

There are a few exceptions in 3CX in counting but they are rare and only to your benefits.
