so for me this is a bug and must be fixed as soon as possible. if somebody found a bug, i think 3cx prefer to open a ticket. but i think that 3x can open ticket its own if possible bug is found and posted here in the forum.
But my comment was completely accurate: if you post an issue here, you're not assured of a reply--either to confirm/deny or offer answers. Sometimes there is one, often enough not. On a new product, peer response is not sufficient.
Of course this is highly technical stuff; that's why responsive support is even more essential. There is
a huge chance for installer errors and confusion.
In this case, I believed 3CX explicitly provided a feature to simultaneously ring a local and either a mobile or any other non-local extension. That is what is provided elsewhere; not just for mobiles.
I need help to get this working, and I provided some fairly complete setup information when I first posted.
Sorry, but other SIP product support does not always and automatically request Wireshark captures. It is a tedious and time-consuming effort. In some cases, they are essential, others not. There are distinctions.
In this case, if 3CX were to check the scenario I used, I don't believe it will work. Either I misunderstood the feature, didn't setup properly, or the feature doesn't work. You don't need Wireshark to answer those issues-- you simply need to look at the scenario and correct it. (Or, if it was setup as required, test and fix it.)
Finally, I don't see a place on this forum for bug reports.
I appreciate the product, and your work, Nicky. This is not a slam, but a plea for revised support strategies. Dave

an example: i open a ticket for a issue with srtp when using snom phones. if a call is started from one snom to anaother snom only the rtp stream of the called party is encrypted, th rtp stream of the caller is not encyrpted. we can reproduce this issue on different systems. and send the 3cx support package to the support, but the do not want to look up for the problem when no wireshark capture is done, although the sip-messages are included in the support packages. because we have done this test on a virtuozo system no capture is possible. so we have to setup our physical test environment only to do the same things but with a wireshark capture that will do not give more needed information. ok. perhaps this is my personal opinion that i think they need an own test environment and give ticktes a try without a capture.
