Hi there,
I would like to ask if possible to have single IP Phone for multiple extensions? because I tried it gives me that MAC address is already in used by another extension. Where I need to configure Cisco Phone, for other phones like Fanvil and Snom its simpler.

Yes very easy, all IP phones support multiple accounts, you just can't have them provisioned. I'm using a yealink T41 with 5 accounts. What type of phone are you using?

with Fanvil, Yealink and Snom it's done easily, but with Cisco Phone where I can't have GUI to setup the files, I must send the request from the PBX (3CX) to the phone using the MAC Address.
But since this MAC Address is used by another extension, the new extension is not allowing me to add it again to push another extension to the same phone.

Ah yes, I see. We have done this before, but it involved lots and lots of beer, a number of pizzas, template hacking setting up a TFTP server and a tonne of trial and error.

Best of luck :-)

It's easy to do ( for some), but hard to maintain. You might want to step back, look at what you want to accomplish, and see if there is a design that won't require you to shoot around corners.

Agreed. How about just forwarding the other extensions to the one extension/phone that is provisioned?

Yes we are trying to do the same as well. So we could have two extensions on a single phone and have different ring tones for each of these extensions.

So forwarding an extension to another extension wouldn't work as would be the same ring tone and couldn't tell the difference between which extension the caller is calling through on.
