Greetings,

I tried to setup my SIP trunk with 3CX. However I recieved a 404 from my ISPs SIP gateway:

My trunk settings:

It seems that 3CX uses the default trunk id as username which probably leads to the error above.
I have received a SIP_USERNAME and SIP_PASSWORD from my ISP in this regard.

SIP is running on my endpoint and on theirs:

NAT and firewall is also correctly configured. However the firewall reports a strange behavior on port 5060:

When checking my router I can confirm that no port 59915 or 5060 is used:

the netstat at the end without filtering is just a proof that the utility works. Port in the fw check seems to be dynamically allocated each time the check runs.

------------------------

Question would be: Can this 10000 be changed so that 3CX uses the username (it's a number) instead?

Thanks!

Regards,

Alex

Hi eddy123,

I have send them an e-mail, but they probably only reply on Monday.
But as you said "client side configuration". As stated above my assumption is that the default user 3CX uses is wrong. Instead of 10000 he should use the SIP_USERNAME.

Everything else seems to check out fine.

Is your SIP provider one 3cx supported?
did you use a 3CX trunk template to set it in PBX?
