I have a specialty situation that requires a rugged phone like GAI-Tronics VoIP Telephone 210-710BH.
I have successfully registered the phone and can receive calls on it. Voice traffic works both ways.
I am unable to dial out. When I dial out it goes directly to a busy signal. I have tried different patterns and ending with * or #.
Any thoughts on what may be wrong are appreciated.

Check the 3CX Activity Log to see if 3CX is even getting an Invite for the call. If not, then it may be something to do with an internal dialplan, in the set, or, a setting dealing with where the set sends the call.
I have seen sets/devices that require the server address (3CX) be input in up to 3 different fields (server, proxy, outbound proxy) before outbound calls would work.

I think that got it. I missed one of the fields and the directions even told me to put it in (lesson: don't skim the directions), I just assumed proxy was for something else. I made the changes remote, but I will not be able to physically test this till next week. I definitely left out the IP address in a necessary field. Thanks for your suggestion. I will update this as soon as I can physically test it next week.

This fixed the issues. Thank you for your help.

Glad to hear you got it working. Sometimes it's just something simple that is overlooked.

I see you have had success with the manual registration of a Gai-Tronic Phone. WOuld you mind sharing your manual config settings as i'm struggling to get one of my units to register?

Would appreciate the help.

I have been unavailable for the last few days and apologize for the slow response.
Below orange highlighted fields are what I have configured on my GAI unit that allowed it to register. The information is specific to your phone system so I did not see a reason to put my info here. Domain Name/Proxy Domain Name/Register Domain Name were all the IP/DNS of the 3cx server. This is what I missed in setting it up when I posted the thread. The rest of the info came from the extension settings.

Let me know if you have further questions or if I misunderstood your request.
