Hello everyone,

First of all I would like to inform you that i am new on this community and new in the 3cx world. First impressions are really great and we plan on setting this environment into our live environment for our call center.

I have a question for you all if someone can guide or point me into the right direction. We currently have 3 different phone numbers:
A: 000000001
B: 000000002
C: 000000003

We want some of our users to be able to make outbound calls by choosing the desired phone number. From a full search and due to the fact that our SIP Trunk provider will require a registration so we can't use multiple SIP Trunks for each number we will have to create a dump extension for each and add the phone number as the "Outbound Caller ID", please correct me if I am wrong.

Once the above is being created we will have to find a SIP Phone that will accept multiple SIP Accounts right? I have tried to set this up on a yealink W52P device but i was unable to make outbound calls using the second line. Any ideas how i can achieve that?

Thank you for your time!

You will need to login to the phone base, then go to the Account tab, Number Assignment from there you can allow and disallow incoming and out going lines

Hello,

Once i will select this option and click the "Line" option under my handset i see a red X under th second account and when i will select and hit Dial i get an "Invalid" message

nvm i found it and resolved this issue. It was a setting under the PBX center. Now a different question if possible. Can i rename the "Line Name" on my phone device from the 3 digit extension to a custom one?
