I have a free PBX running in google cloud platform, and the system is sending "407 Proxy Authentication Required" to the provider (Bandwidth.com) even thought the trunk is set to "Do not require - IP based".
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hello @telernet

The only case the PBX will ask for Proxy authentication from a provider is when you are facing Source identification issues. That means that the PBX is not able to match the inbound call to a trunk on the system.
To eliminate the issue make sure that your DIDs match the format the provider is using to send the number to the PBX. Check the activity log and see how the incoming number is formatted and try to match that.
Alternatively you could use the wildcard to force the PBX to try to match only the numbers that follow the wildcard.
For example if your DID is 01234656789 adjust to *3456789 and save the changes. Then try another call.
Also are you using multiple trunks ?
