SIP Server services suddenly stops

After about a year of 0 issues with Azure hosted 3cx instance in the last 10 days the SIP server service has suddenly stopped working twice. Not that two times makes a pattern but both times it was on Monday morning. Also simply clicking on Start service starts the service and it continues working normally. How to I troubleshoot this issue?

The most common reason why services stop unexpectedly is RAM, that's why I asked, but it should be OK.

Could you try updating to V18, and if the issue remains? If it does, then we could check.

I want to wait few more weeks before I update. Also I am planning on moving the hosting to another azure account when I do. Not sure if I should upgrade, backup, move and restore or backup, move, restore and upgrade? Any advice on that would be greatly appreciated.

If you are currently on V16 Update 8, you can upgrade and move at the same time.
What you can do when the time comes is:

1. Make a full backup of your 3CX v16 U8 and download it to your PC.
2. Create a new Azure instance using the Azure Marketplace guide. By that time, the marketplace should be deploying V18.
3. At the end of the guide, the First Time Configuration Wizard will we accessible, from where you can restore your backup.

All your backup/configuration will be restored onto a newly installed V18.
