Hi 3CX funs,,

In my company we 've a lot of Avaya IP office installations, so i though it would be a good idea to implement trunks from 3CX to the IP office's pbx's in order to allow dialing between the 2 systems.

I 've read in the forukm that it can be done by setting the 3CX as a master bridge and ip office as slave

So in 3cx status i can see a sip trunk to ip office shown as registered but when i make a call from an avaya extension to a 3cx extension no ringing and no voice.

I anyone who implemented this can provide some details on the configuration of both systems

Thanks

So ...in 3CX you see the trunk as registered, but what about in the Avaya? What is the status? How is the dialplan set in the Avaya? Are there logs, in the Avaya that will show why the call fails, where it is actually routing? What about the 3CX server log? Is there anything indicating that a call attempt was made but then failed?

If there is no 3CX log, then you may need to re-examine the settings in the Avaya.
