We are trying to setup a non-3cx supported sip trunk, everything seems to be working with the exception of the "From: Host Part" parameters. The trunk provider requires a address;otg=UserName value to send the URI parameters identifying the trunk group.

Troubleshooting with the Sip Trunk provider, their logs are indicating that everything after the semicolon ; is not being forward to them.

Is there an ulterior command or code we can use instead of the semicolon to fix this issue?

I have noticed this was asked way back in 2018, but had no replies.

Regarding your question, and this being an un-tested, therefore unsupported provider, advice cannot be provided regarding how to configure it with the 3cx system.

We can suggest using a 3cx-approved sip trunk from the list found here: https://www.3cx.com/partners/voip-providers/

Hi, I am having the same issue. I am on the Free Pro account (testing at present), However my VOIP/SIP phone provider is not listed as either preferred or supported. I have contacted both supported and preferred companies who would be more than happy for me to port across. Although their companies do NOT work with such small companies as ours as their planes start way above our budget. So, my question is, I have all the information supplied by my SIP provider, including the username, password and realm, how do I get it to work???
