I'm struggling receiving calls on 3CX with a trunk I assigned on the system.
This particular trunk is what is provided by a career with the information of an IP,a CID, and UDP port 5060(which is issued to the IP of the System and the port I told them).

The signal of the trunk is green on the "SIP Trunks" list, and outbound call was successful, however incoming calls do not reach the System.
The provider checked the log on their side and they said that the 3CX server did not answer to calls(but ping was OK).

The settings I made on the system are;
▼Trunk Details
・Registrar/Server/Gateway Hostname or IP
IP aaa.bbb.cc.ddd port 5060

・Outbound Proxy
IP aaa.bbb.cc.ddd port 5060

▼Authentication
・Type of Authentication
IP Based
・Authentication ID (aka SIP User ID)
03XXXXXXX

▼Route calls to
・Main Trunk No
03XXXXXXX
・Destination for calls during office hours
Extension
(*aaa.bbb.cc.ddd - IP of the provider, 03XXXXXXX - CID)

Please kindly advice me what else I should do for settings, or anything wrong with the settings above?

Thanks for the message.

>Does the firewall check pass?

When I run Firewall Check, testing 3CX SIP Server and testing port 5061 show "failed".

Also could you tell me which log should I look into?
Thank you.

So it looks like you told your provider to use 5060 but you are listening on port 5061. And before you worry about the logs you should work on getting the firewall check to pass. But the log to check would be the activity log. You'd want to put it in verbose.

Thanks for the message.

I think it should be set as 5060, I don't know why this becomes 5061.
Could you help me with where can I change the port from 5061 to 5060?

The SIP Port can only be set during the installation of 3CX.

In order to change the SIP Port, you must do the following:
  1. Take a Full Backup of your 3CX from the Management Console and download it to a safe location
  2. Uninstall 3CX
  3. Re-install 3CX
  4. Go through the wizard and when prompted, choose to restore your backup
  5. A few steps after this, you will get prompted to choose your Ports: HTTP, HTTPS, SIP and Tunnel
I would suggest leaving the default ones which are: 5000, 5001, 5060, 5090
  6. Continue the rest of the installation as normal
Important: If you have already provisioned IP Phones, you may have to Reprovision, or even Factory Reset, then reprovision them if you change the ports.
