Hey,

So I ran into an odd issue today, not sure if this is by design or a bug.

I have the latest version of 3CX installed on Debian (18.0.237)

If I go to SIP Trunks- Select a single trunk- hit Disable All
ALL trunks are disabled, both selected and unselected. But the status is not reflected on the portal. All trunks appear to be enabled and functioning, but of course no external calls can be made.

It caused a bit of a panic this morning as I was disabling a SBC after hours last night, and this morning got a call from the client saying the system was down o_O. After troubleshooting with the SIP provider, I realized that all the trunks had become disabled instead of just the SBC, even though they are still showing green and registered in the portal.

My question-
Should a disabled trunk show up as 'disabled' or 'offline' on the portal?
Does the 'Disable All' button disable ALL trunks, or only those that are selected?

The disable all button does exactly what it says on the tin, disables all trunks not just the ones selected. Now if you click disable all and have registration-based providers you will not see them turn red unless you refresh the page, press the Refresh Registration button, or navigate away to another node and back again.

Thanks for that insight.

I have 3 trunks- the default webmeeting bridge, an IP based SIP trunk (not registered based) and a SBC.
Even though all 3 would have been disabled, they all still showed up as online (green) on the portal, even a few hours after when I had to re-login to the portal after the client made a complaint.

I just tried again to test, hit the disable all button, navigated away, navigated back, refreshed registration, all trunks still show up as green and active

The SIP trunk page does not have a status indicator for enabled/disabled. The green circle is for registered/unregistered and IP authenticated trunks will always show green.

In addition to what everyone said, bear in mind that If you want to check if a SIP Trunk is disabled or not, you can edit it and navigate to Options. You'll see that the following two options are unchecked if the SIP Trunk is disabled:

This has already been answered but IP-based trunks will not turn red (as I have mentioned if registration-based), Web meeting bridge will also remain green as well as do SBC's, as this only affects registration-based sip trunks and of cause bridges.

Ok I understand. Thanks everyone!
