I have a trunk setup between 3CX and Mitel CONNECT on-prem. Both way calls are flowing properly but calls from 3CX to Mitel end up with trunk main number as caller ID.

From Mitel side the trunk is setup with standard config:

and SIP Trunk is setup this way

on 3CX side the trunk is setup with main Trunk number 1180 (It cannot be blank so I decided to match the Mitel side)

Mitel trunk switch IP => 10.123.241.13
3CX Server => 10.123.249.87

I used this page for guidance: https://www.3cx.com/docs/sip-trunk-outbound-calls/#h.fl1a9lt7gvi6 and I have tried every possible option in the Outbound parameters tab for 'From: User part' but it is not passing the actual extension number to Mitel.

When I use 'default value' the trunk uses the virtual extension and I get the following:

{..........INVITE sip:[email protected] SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.123.249.87:5060;branch=z9hG4bK-524287-1---099ac65c9f90004a;rport

when i change it to 'CallerNum' I get the main trunk number in from field.

Could someone please advise what I can do to fix this.

Thank you

Have you ever tried to leave it that way on the outbound caller id on the extension?

caller id.PNG

And so on outbound parameters on the sip trunk.?

outparameters.PNG

I work with Mitel Mx-One and all routes between 3CX and MX-One I leave configured this way.

What is configured in the outbound caller id of the extension will be sent to Mitel.

Sorry my english is bad.

I believe that the problem encountered, with doing that, is that the same number, will be sent on all outbound calls, including those to a VoIP provider (which would, in most cases would be rejected), rather than a dialable PSTN DID.

In cases where I integrate between 3CX and Mitel MX-One, in 3CX I just configured the trunk as a generic sip trunk (asterisk) and I don't use authentication.

I just create an outbound rule for this trunk, remove the access code and send 4 digits forward.

When the call arrives at mxone it arrives with the information of the extension of the 3cx making the call, as informed in the outbound caller id of each extension.

See how I leave the trunk configured on the 3CX.

The rest of the settings I already sent.
