Hi 3cx

After my upgrade to v16 my dashboard shows a warning about not supported trunks.
I have only 2 trunks installed. One sipcall(CH) and one sipgate DE.

The problem seems to be the sip call trunk because it is not possible to create a new sipcall (CH) trunk anymore. Sipgate works.
I found no informations that this provider is not supported anymore and also on you site https://www.3cx.com/partners/sip-trunks/schweiz/ is sipcall(CH) aviable.

regards and thanks for your help
Sven

If you had it working in a previous version, have you tried adding it as a generic SIP trunk, with the same settings/credentials as before? Because a provider is not "officially" supported does not necessarily mean that 3CX will not work with them.

Hi leejor

Yes I delete the old created original sipcall sip trunk and create a generic sip trunk with the same details.
But not I got a similar message.

You are using Unsupported SIP trunk providers which may cause issues.
For a list of supported SIP Trunks visit this page.

It would seem that a warning message, for use of anything "non-standard" (unsupported) in 3CX nowadays is to be expected. But...does it work? That's the big question.

Supported providers have been tested to work without issues, so, there are usually fewer problems, meaning fewer trouble tickets generated.

Yes it works.

Now I found the problem. 3cx change the template name of sip call. The new template is named Backbone Solutions AG - Sipcall
Im not noticed that before. It seems that the old named template "Sipcall" was killed in the system so that it was not supported anymore and got no updates.
I found no informations in changelogs or anything else that the provider template was completely exchanged.

But it works with the new template. Thanks for your help.

Glad it worked out for you. Throws a bit of a monkey wrench in there when provider change their names.
