Skyetel SMS/MMS support

I have seen this pop up a few times, however I would like to add my request for Skyetel SMS/MMS to be added to 3CX, this is a high priority for us.

We would also like Skyetel approved for SMS/MMS, but for now we've had excellent results porting just the SMS portion of a number over to Telnyx. The calling is still done through Skyetel but the SMS uses Telnyx.

It used to take 3-7 days to go live but now is usually ready by the next business day.

No amount of votes is going to change this. 3CX has already stated that they are changing how the API will work for doing SMS/MMS in update 5, and basically any and all providers can work if they make their integration work with 3CX.

When is update 5 scheduled to be released?

As cobaltIT said we are implementing SMS/MMS in update 5. It will be directly linked to the SIP trunk, no need for separate configuration or to have SMS separate from calling. Provider will need to have a simple web API support and they can easily make it work with 3CX. Support for Voxtelesys, Skyetel will be added in this update but its easy to add more later. Update 5 hopefully by end of July
