Any way to have a caller input their mobile and have an SMS sent with the online appointment booking url using telnyx?

Specifically with Telnyx? That is something you have to ask them via their API integration.

But since you are asking on the 3CX forums I think you mean with 3CX, which doesn't care which provider you are using for SMS. In that case, there is no native ability for 3CX to do this. However, you could build a CFD app to accomplish this.

Not exactly. A caller could call and select an option to get the link via SMS, but SMS "bots" using callflows are not supported (yet... hoping for DialogFlow!)

cobaltit, I have a similar need: number pushed and a url is sent via txt to customer. can you give us some details on how this is done? I saw this thread which kinda explained how to:

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/send-sms-as-an-ivr-option.84603/

"At the moment, there is no component to send an SMS message using the CFD. However, you can use the REST API provided by your SMS provider to do this, using the Web Service REST component. You would need to check their API.

The caller's number is available in the session.ani variable."

How would the number be "pushed" to the app? Caller ID or manual input?

Sending an SMS would be relatively easy using CFD and a REST API like Telnyx or Twilio.
